Pick up a Passport Application form at a local participating Post Office branch, fill it in and send it - with your documents and photos. Countersignature is MUST - Countersignature must be done when the application form is signed by the applicant. The date the applicant signs the form must be equal or older than the countersignature date.
2 Identical coloured Passport Size Photo (Photo need to be taken recently), each of them will need to be countersigned.
Please make sure that the signature at the back of the photo won't be visible from the front. Also, do not staple or use clips as they could mark the photo and make it unacceptable for the Passport Office.

Why would I need a second UK passport?
A second UK passport is issued at the discretion of HM Passport Office to frequent business travellers who genuinely need to hold two valid passports at once — for example, to visit countries that are in conflict or refuse entry to a passport carrying certain stamps (such as Israel and Iran, Lebanon, Syria or Iraq), or to keep travelling while one passport is held by an embassy for extended visa processing.
Do I need to provide a copy of my existing passport?
Yes. You must include a clear copy of every page of your first (existing) UK passport with your application. The Passport Office reserves the right to request additional documents or change its requirements at any time, so we review your packet before it is submitted.
What is the Justification Letter and is it required?
A Justification Letter is mandatory for a second UK passport. It explains why you need to hold two UK passports at the same time and must carry your original signature. VisaHQ provides a sample letter and checks yours before it is submitted to HM Passport Office.
How fast can I get a second UK passport?
