Foreign citizens who have a valid, multiple-entry UK visa, which has been previously used in the respective country of issuance, or have valid permit of stay in UK do not need a visa to enter Albania. You can travel with your passport and BRP card.

Original, signed Democratic Republic of the Congo passport. Passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity on the date of travel and have at least 1 visa page clear of any markings.

Passport Photo: 1 Include a passport style photo, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a surcharge associated with this service.

Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary.

Health Insurance. Proof of health insurance covering international travel.

Bank Statement. Copy of a recent bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds.

Employment Letter. A letter from your employer on business letterhead, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job. Must also include 3 most recent pay slips (original and copies). If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return. For students, please submit an official letter from your school indicating that you are in good standing and that you are registered for the upcoming semester. If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.

Hotel Reservations. Copy of confirmed hotel reservations including name of the applicant, name and address of the hotel, duration of stay.

Invitation Letter. An invitation from the host accompanied with a photocopy of their passport (if the host is a foreign citizen the invitation must also include their Residence Permit in the Republic of Albania issued by the relevant Albanian Authority). It is important to note that the host must deposit a copy of the invitation at the relevant Regional Department for Border and Migration, where the host is living.
Documents for Minors (under 18 years)
• For children under 18 years: A statement expressing the consent of a parent or legal guardian of the child for the trip, or the person responsible is required.
• For the children under 18 years old, that do not have a passport, the visa can be issued on the passport of the parent or legal guardian, where the child is noted.
Visa Exemptions
• People holding a valid residence permit from a Schengen member state or a valid multi-entry Schengen visa, type C or D, can stay in Albania without a visa.
• The holders of a valid multiple entry visa or a valid residence permit issued by the United States of America, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, with the condition that visa issued must have been used previously in the country issued are allowed to stay in the Republic of Albania for up to 90 days per180 days.
After refusal of a visa, the foreigner has the right to reapply only after the appeals procedures have ended or after three months from the date of receiving the decision
