All applicants must now go to O.I.S office in London to capture their biometric when applying for visa to Nigeria from the UK.

VisaHQ will provide the following:

- Provision of application forms, requirements and instructions on how to obtain your necessary visa
- Quality checking of your application and supporting materials to ensure it is complete, and minimising the risk of refusal at the Embassy
- Provision of the compulsory appointment for your documents to be submitted to the Visa Application Centre
- Meet and Greet at the Visa Application Centre to support the collection of your biometric data and assistance with payment for their fees.
- Collection of the completed passport and visa and secure delivery back to the applicant

and send the following documents to VisaHQ:

Nigeria visa application form. Completed application form for Nigeria will be prepared within 5 business hours of order submission, and emailed to you to download, print and sign.

Original, signed United Kingdom passport/Travel document with at least 6 months of remaining validity and two blank facing pages. Please upload Passport Data Page Files with Extension JPG/PNG/JPEG/GIF and Size of file Upto 400 KB are allowed only.

Passport Photo: 2 Include a passport style photo, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a surcharge associated with this service.

Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary.

Bank Statement. Original of the applicant’s bank statements for the past 3 months (not older than 1 week on submission day) including the balance at the time of submission, showing their name and address. The bank statement must be a minimum of £500 in credit, overdrafts are not included.

Hotel Reservations. Copy of confirmed hotel reservations including name of the applicant, name and address of the hotel, duration of stay.

Formal Typed Letter/Itinerary. A formal typed letter/itinerary stating the purpose of the visit:
• Addressed to: ““High Commission of Nigeria, 9 Northumberland Avenue, Westminster, London WC2N 5BX”, which will need to appear at the top-left of the letter.
• Applicant’s full name;
• Applicant’s date of birth;
• Signed by the applicant;
• Dated (not older than 1 month on submission day);
• The address where the applicant lives in the United Kingdom, which will need to appear at the top-right of the letter;
• The period of stay in Nigeria;
• Detailed Schedule of Stay. Please, explain every single day of your holiday, even if you have the same activities.

Self-employed applicants. If self-employed, you must provide a letter (not older than 1 month on the submission day), Addressed to: “High Commission of Nigeria, 9 Northumberland Avenue, Westminster, London WC2N 5BX”, which will need to appear at the top-left of the letter, stating the fact and the purpose of the trip to Nigeria.

Previous passports. All of your previous passports will need to be submitted. If you have lost them or for other reasons you are not able to provide them, please write a letter, which must be:
• Addressed to: “High Commission of Nigeria, 9 Northumberland Avenue, Westminster, London WC2N 5BX”, which will need to appear at the top-left of the letter;
• Include an applicant’s address”, which will need to appear at the top-right of the letter;
• Signed;
• Dated;
• Explaining why you won't be able to submit your previous passports.
PLEASE NOTE: Documents not in English must be submitted with a certified translated copy.


Additional Documents for Children Under 18:
- Original birth certificate;

- A copy of birth certificate;

- A formal typed letter of consent, which must be:

• Addressed to: “High Commission of Nigeria,
9 Northumberland Avenue, Westminster, London WC2N 5BX”, which will need to appear at the top-left of the letter.

• Applicant’s full name;

• Applicant’s date of birth;

• Signed by the parents;

• Dated (not older than 1 month on the submission day);

• Include an applicant’s address”, which will need to appear at the top-right of the letter.

• The period of stay in Nigeria;

• Stating that parents take “full immigration responsibility”.
- Copy of parent/s valid passport data/signature pages.
